Michelle Kujawa’s second attempt at fleeing The Bachelor was fully granted by an emotionally exhausted Jake last episode.
Apparently, the 26-year-old’s intensity for love and determination to get hitched and produce ankle biters proved too much for the Bachelor — and most of the girls — and she was sent packing before the Rose Ceremony. Although Michelle admits she may have come on too strong, she says she has no regrets and wears her heart on her sleeve.
“I was in it full-force, and I didn’t feel anything back from him so why waste each other’s time?” she told Ellen Degeneres when she stopped by her show on Wednesday.
As much as she admits she wasn’t thrilled at the outcome of her journey, she says she only wishes Jake the best. Michelle admits she didn’t easily bond with the girls but claims she “never had an issue with anybody.”
As for her confrontation with Ali? “I’m not going to just sit on the sidelines and not say anything; I’m definitely going to say something about it, which I did. But there were no intentions of hurting anybody. I think everybody was great. Everybody was really nice in the house,” so said the office manger from Anaheim, CA during a conference call Thursday. (As hunky-dory as this sounds, she seemed a bit more candid on Ellen, especially about Vienna, when she stated that the loquacious blond was a young, spoiled only child.) Yikes.
When asked if she was rooting for any of the remaining contestants, Michelle expressed an overall ambivalence. However, she thinks Tenley is a possible good match for Jake and even gives props to Ali since she and Jake have a seemingly strong connection. Ultimately, the ‘Full-Force’ Love Diva’s only real complaint about her ‘Bachelor’ experience is that she never had an individual date with Jake, which she thinks could’ve made a difference.
But today, with her friends and family supporting her, and her admission that she doesn’t even fully watch the show, Michelle’s moved on.
For those of you who are slightly saddened to see her eccentric character exit the show, take heart—there’s so much more “devastating” drama next episode that Jake claims, “On a scale of one to 10, it nears a 10.” And we thought we were just going to see a playful dune buggy race!
